Denny Powell

This is Denny Powell a local from Orgeon Cave in West Virgina. I have been following him around and he seems pretty interesting, born and raised in Greenbrier county. He is a retired mechanic but still helps out neighbors with car problems. Also he owns and operates a thrift store located right next door to his house. He is an amazing story teller though as well as very outspoken person as why I was lead to talk to him.

Here I was going for a strobed portrait.. and he loves to hookah so we took this one at a hookah lounge Prince to be exact.

Sports Portrait 101

On this assignment fill light was the key. I feel as though I could of used more ambient light but overall pretty successful. Again thanks to Omar Anaya for posing.

So my first assgimnet for lighting was the pepper, no strobes allowed just natural lighting or other light sources used stain glass and a lightbulb and this is what i got.....any feedback?
